Seasoned yet up and coming Hip-Hop artist who has been working professionally since his appearance on BET’s legendary Rap City program in 2006. Since then, Malik has released 2 group projects and 8 solo mixtapes, including his last release in late 2010 with Complex Media affiliate site, RefinedHype.com.

He has been featured on every major Hip-Hop blog numerous times and broke records when he released “Subway Bus Or Walking”, with fellow artist Brandon Carter, a humorous spin on Lloyd Banks’ hit “Bima Benz or Bentley” that went viral and reached everything from AOL.com to The Village Voice in 2010, even beating out the original in a poll by XXLMAG.COM.

I Grab The Mic

A young mixed-race girl named Remy, encounters that intrusive question, “What are you?” during her first day at a new school, which sends her on a journey towards self-acceptance. Feeling confused about where she belongs, Remy learns about ethnicity and what it means to be mixed by doing her favorite activity with her mother: baking. When she then returns to school, Remy shares the importance and deliciousness of celebrating different backgrounds with all of her classmates.
