Marlon McKenney is an Award Winning illustrator and author with an engaging and unique point of view. As a child, Marlon suffered from severe asthma, which forced him to stay indoors while his friends played outside. This situation allowed Marlon to find his hidden super power which was art & design and after 40+ years, Marlon has flourished as a creative director and published 4 picture books. Marlon’s message is simple. Everyone has their own super power. Once discovering what it is, you must practice relentlessly, and never give up on your dreams.

The Genuis of Egypt II: Rise Of the Pyramid

Lyla is guided by a firefly to the magic pair of glasses, which allows her to see how ecosystems work. She learns about ants, aphids, pollinator plants, butterflies, and most importantly, how they rely on one another.

While there are tons of books for girls who love princesses and fairies, Tracy believes there are not nearly enough for girls who love nature, bugs, inventions, and exploring. This is structured as an education-adventure series akin to the Magic School Bus.
